What does Arctis AI compare?
Everything in a bid submission. Not just bills of quantities and pricing, but also terms and conditions, commercial clauses, technical specifications, delivery terms, payment conditions, and qualification statements. The platform maps and normalizes positions across all bids to produce a side-by-side bid mirror (Preisspiegel) with position-level comparison across all bidders.
What document formats does Arctis AI support?
All common construction document formats including GAEB, PDF, Excel, Word, and scanned documents. Our aim is to compare the most complex construction documents, and we are continuously expanding to cover every format used in construction procurement.
What types of tenders does Arctis AI support?
Every tender on a project. GC/EPC tenders, subcontractor tenders, material and equipment tenders, and consultant tenders. The platform handles VOB/B and FIDIC contract standards for both DACH and international projects.
My tender documents are very long and ChatGPT and other AI tools failed to analyze them. Can Arctis AI handle this?
Absolutely. We break documents into smaller segments and reassemble them using a proprietary AI-driven algorithm. This way even very large and complex tender packages are processed accurately and completely.
How does the risk analysis work?
Arctis AI reads every page of every bid attachment to surface hidden risks. That includes scope exclusions buried in cover letters, qualification clauses that shift risk, conflicting terms and conditions, alternative specifications that don't meet requirements, and missing compliance documents. Risk and deviation flags appear directly alongside the price comparison so nothing gets missed.
What kinds of risks does Arctis AI detect?
Scope exclusions not visible in the pricing schedule, qualification clauses that shift risk to the client (e.g. 'subject to site conditions'), conflicting terms between bid and tender, alternative offers deviating from specs, conditional pricing, validity limitations, and references to the bidder's own terms that override the tender contract.
How does the documentation check work?
Arctis AI matches required documents against each bidder's submission. Certificates, insurance policies, references, product datasheets, and qualifications. The result is a documentation matrix showing what's required vs. what's submitted per bidder, so you see compliance gaps at a glance.
What outputs does Arctis AI generate?
Four structured outputs. A side-by-side bid mirror (Preisspiegel) with position-level comparison across all bidders, risk and deviation flags for every exception and qualification found, a documentation matrix (required vs. submitted per bidder), and a decision-ready award memo with recommended bidder and full audit trail.
Does Arctis AI provide statistics across bids?
Of course. Min, max, and average pricing for every position across all bidders. You can instantly see where a bid is an outlier and how each bidder compares to the field.
Can I upload my own pricing for comparison?
Absolutely. Upload your own cost estimates or internal pricing and include them in the comparison alongside bidder submissions. This lets you benchmark bids against your own budget or independent cost calculations.
Can I edit the AI outputs?
Everything Arctis AI generates is fully editable. Adjust the bid mirror, modify risk assessments, add your own notes, and refine the award memo before sharing it with your team or client.
How does Arctis AI reduce hallucination risk?
Our AI pipeline runs multiple verification passes to cross-check every extracted data point. Every result is cited back to its source page, so you can verify any finding in the source viewer with one click. This combination of multi-pass verification and full source traceability ensures the outputs are reliable and auditable.
Who built Arctis AI?
Arctis AI is a TU Munich spinoff. The team brings software engineering and AI backgrounds to construction procurement.
What about highly complex projects?
For high-complexity projects, Arctis AI provides forward deployed engineers who work directly with your team. They configure the platform for your specific document structures, contract standards, and evaluation workflows, so you get accurate results even on the most complex multi-trade, multi-bidder evaluations.
How do I get started?
Book a demo to see the platform in action with your own bid documents. No IT integration required. Upload documents and get results from day one. Arctis AI is currently in private beta.
Is Arctis AI GDPR compliant?
Fully compliant. All data is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany on EU-only infrastructure. Customer data is never used for AI model training. Audit-ready exports with full traceability. DPA available.
